Handling a complaint seems a "nono" for booking.com. Despite their excuses and promise to solve the issue in a matter of days it has now taken 2 months and 4 reminder emails without any response from booking.com

Dennis and Korina the owners were friendly and very helpful to all our needs. The location is amazing and the villas were spotless and comfortable.

They put me in a handicapped room. The bed was one thin mattress. It did not have a box spring under it. It was very uncomfortable.

I had horrible service from booking.com. I booked hotel through booking.com twice they took payment &everything after 1 months they cancelled my hotel saying that this hotel doesn't exist it's fake hotel. Now I'm flying after few days and don't have hotel they didn't even help me to get another one. Rubbish customer service

I booked 4 nights at Hipotel Paris (Simplon underground) from 8th June until 12th June. When we arrived the toilet seat was half narrow (imagine by yourselves what I mean). The first night was ok, we had hot water in order to have a shower (wow! I mean wtf, thanks guys). Then the second day the told us that they have an issue with the boiler and they will sort it out. Saturday night, after another long walk in Paris, we arrived at the hotel willing to shower. Guess what folks: no hot water until Monday. Oh really? Monday will check out. How can we maintain our personal hygiene as? As in the third world?? They told us that they can't do anything about it. We called booking.com and they said they can give us a €25 refund and leave the hotel straight away. Oh really? So we should shower in the river and sleep in the streets until Monday? Anyway beware guys, of this hotel and this website. They are totally shit!!

Never use Booking.com rip off no customer service they take your money and you're on your own I didn't even stay at the bates motel (Key West Inn) in Pensacola Fl steer clear of bookin.com and this disgusting property

Never book with booking.com again just got back from a long weekend away in Spain ,magaluf we booked into the universal Florida hotel to then find out they had over booked in rooms so why is booking.com still selling rooms the hotel said they couldn't do anything for 3 people to then be stranded abroad as we tried other hotels to get in wasted our last day on carrying suitcases etc around , booking.com was quick enough to take the money from you out of your bank would not recommend anyone to book with them I will be taking this as far as I can to get a refund !!

I had the worst experience with booking.com. I never tried a booking agent seemed easy enough. If things go well it would probably be fine. Me on the other hand who doesn't travel much at all am not that person. Long story, short version. I booked a super 8 motel for an overnight deal. Got to the motel with confirmation in hand, clerk tells me there is no reservation. 3 hours on the phone in the hotel lobby was stuck with out a room. May be I could be ok with things happen some times, if my issue was resolved. It wasn't and I had to drive back home. To make things worse I spoke to customer care people every day for a week, each one said they would resolve my situation and get back to me. They never did, Id have to call back. When you call be ready for 20 to 30 hold time. It is now a week and I still have no compromise Hope you never have an issue

the worst experience ever, the customer service of booking.com is the most horrible i have experience in my 10 year on hotel reservation, the lady yoyzlen was very rude and she even hang up the phone. contacted the office of the hotel and Mr. VIncent was very rude and there was not attempt on his end to even try to help me. booking and avanti really lie to customers don' t even try going there

Verified order
I made a reservation on booking.com for the Jacaranda Inn on the Big Island of Hawaii. Several places on Jacaranda Inn's site said "Free Cancellation" in a bright green box. I knew my date could change, but I felt that since it said "Free Cancellation," I could feel safe in making a reservation. Then, 2 hours later, I found out my dates were changing and tried to cancel. When I did, it charged me $159 to cancel. I called booking.com's customer service line, and they said that "Free Cancellation" box didn't pertain to that location and that it told me about the cancellation charge when I was paying. I pointed out that I didn't feel the need to read it since the site said "Free Cancellation" in several places. They said I should have read the fine print. They did call the Jacaranda Inn and got them to lower the fee to $50, but Booking.com wouldn't take any responsibility, so it ends up being a $50 lesson not to use Booking.com again. So, beware when you use Booking.com: "Free Cancellation" on a hotel's page doesn't necessarily mean free cancellation.

We will NEVER book through booking.com again. ThIs is the first vacation my husband and I have been able to take in 4 years. This hotel is absolutely disgusting. The bathroom ceiling is falling in, there is mold growing in the bathroom, dried (what appears to be snot) on the walls, a chair held together by tape - yes tape!, the pool is filthy - cigarette butts and trash in the pool, dirty underwear left by the pool, etc. I tried to post photos, but apparently this site does not want reviewers to see the severity of the filth and disgusting condition of this property.

We booked our vacation home (MAGICAL MEMORIES) through them. I had a confirmation number and everything. When we got to Orlando, our reservation had disappeared. We were staying for 2 weeks, with our family and pets and had nowhere to go!! Booking.com said they had nowhere to send us. Then, they referred us to airbnb. Bad referral! They not only wanted my credit card info and other info that you would normally give them, they wanted access to my social media page, my social security number, my email, my height, etc. After giving up some of this info, I decided, Oh my gosh! They are trying to steal my identity. While they are telling me they needed all this info before I could be approved for the rental, they are already accepting the money that I had sent as a down payment while I waited to hear back from the home owner! I can't say strongly enough what a shady deal this was. I keep checking every day to see if my identity has been stolen or my credit card charged up! NEVER deal with MAGICAL MEMORIES home rentals or booking.com if you want to be SURE you have somewhere to stay when you get there!
