— Don’t Book with Lamai Fitness or Visit natural detox You Will Waste Your Money and your Time, and You will Lose Your Temper, Put your life at risk, achieve nothing and End up in a hospital It is the biggest fraud I have seen in my life set up by Con Artist Billy Orr and Partners — The Gym Lamai Fitness is a 30 square meter fan cooled ruin "gym" with some really old dumbbells, and some second-hand machines from the 80s, the owner Billy Orr also have 6 small mountain bikes and 6 small road bikes that would suit a 5.6 foot person like him, and that's all you get , his training techniques comprise of cycling in the Samui motorways or swimming in the ocean in between the jet skis or running hiking in the forest 5 days a week Monday to Friday 7 am to 9 am (the rest of the day part-timers Billy with his assistant Jason they like to chill ), each day Billy he chooses a different activity ,all outdoors (bear in mind it rains often or it's too sunny hot and humid, so it's good to have an umbrella ) Also he is kind enough to let people train in the closet he calls "gym " where he is trying to do unlicensed CrossFit (https://map.crossfit.com) at 17:00 for an hour . The location The gym is located in Lamai in a tacky remote area of the island where there are a couple of “ bars “ with working Thai girls and some pensioners trying to hook up with them, and unless you fall into the retiree category, I just mentioned you will feel isolated and very very bored. The detox accommodation Visit natural detox hotel next to his mega gym is a complex of basic rooms without closets facing a dated pool in a relatively miserable setting. The Head Charlatan Billy Orr is a man that has the nerve to ask 270 Euros per week or 800 Euros per month as gym membership without accommodation (the training is Monday to Friday on Saturday he is only offering an hour of miserable circuit ) he is claiming that he can do a body transformation ( he calls it reborn ) thanks to his fantastic training facilities - methods and also the use of secret cleansing juices he only knows ( herbs from the Thai jungles) that he is not prepared to disclose and he is getting infuriated when someone will challenge his unique medicinal knowledge. More or less he is asking 54 Euros for a 2 hour session 07:00-9:00 am ( i.e. the monthly subscription to a top premium gym back home with multiple classes) (i don’t count the one miserable hour at 17:00 in the shite hole he is calling a gym as training )to let you swim in the ocean or walk the forest with him or his assistant Jason (its these 2 men that run the limited classes) or let you use his 6 mini mountain bikes only for a 25 km ride through the Samui motorways for approximately 2 hours minus the breaks with the rest of the group (mainly people in their 60s ++ who hope to consume Billys snake oils and achieve the miraculous change ) . The workouts were a varied mix of CrossFit, walking/running in the hills, ocean swimming, cycling… During the day the beach is a few minutes walk away for some holiday relaxation. Now let's do some more maths to get the grip of the fraud he has 23 rooms at 1300 euros per room per month 500 euros for the room 800 euros for the detox gym approximately 30000 euros per month for Billy to cycle around the island not bad ... I reckon it must be enough to live in Thailand In case you are thinking to book from your country I urge you to go and see with your own eyes as I did before you book and have a plan B or you will cry for your time and money you spend on the flights. I advise not to book at all. Do further research and try to find a more professional setting elsewhere like Club La Santa in Lanzarote or Tenerife Top Training in Tenerife or Titan Fitness or Thanyapura in Phuket Thailand Or do what I did if you end up in Samui rent a premium bike for 3 euros per day plenty of rental shops in the island and swim and hike for free (the ocean and the forest are free to use in Samui don't worry ) or go to elite fitness which cost 38 euros a month and is by far the best gym in the island http://www.elitegymsamui.com Save yourself from these ***** unless you want to fund Con artist Billy Orr long term luxurious holidays hoping to lose 20 kg in 4 weeks like Marie did may be reborn or win the lottery etc..
