It was my little childrens very 1st holiday (5+6) taxi was arranged & prepaid by my Turkish friends to cut out any miscommunication. It took over 30 minutes to find him as he was OUTSIDE carpark threatening to leave if we don't get there soon. But we was with 4 children after traveling 8 hours from home! He was tracked by my son & hubby via his number plate he sent earlier. He agreed he will collect us 2 hours earlier than booked time on return. On the day of return a kind staff from sanli suite hotel calledhimto confirm if his still coming but he said he has other booking & will come at further 150TL!! I explained that he had 3 DAYS to inform me but I know it was a con! He stopped his taxi a few meters away from hotel (I assume it's to make us more vulnerable with children & baggage wanting to catch a flight) he demanded upfront payment!! Smiled away!! He charged ANOTHER 100 TL for going under a bridge as it's apparently "faster" route to airport as I noticed a passport missing which was only discovered on route to airport!! Thankfully it was at Topkapi Palace onthe way to airport.
