Gerry's, of Morecombe, the second rod I had to request a refund, listed as "processing in CCP".
My last order for a Sakura Shukan rod, has been in 'CCP' for around 23-days, even though it was listed in stock. Gerry's believe that they advise any delays on checkout, bollocks they do not. They do not answer email or call you back when numerous false promises are made.
I have copied my dialogue with Gerry's of Morecombe:

I have since noted from the internet that items from your external warehouse can take up to 15-days.
I called the shop a few days ago and was advised that I would be called back. No such thing, as for my emails which remain unanswered.
Am I really asking for too much? By simply requesting a delivery date for a rod I ordered and paid for on 21st May 2024, which was some 21-days ago.
I cancelled a previous order for a rod where the status was ‘Processing in CCP’ and ordered it from Veals, which I received within two-days.
Please, all I want is the E.T.A. for this Sakura rod. If you cannot establish and advise me of the E.T.A., just refund me. I am not bothered which, as my experience of purchasing rods from Gerrys Of Morecombe has been a total disappointment to say the least. It is a shame to see so many negative reviews on the internet, for such an established and renowned retail angling outlet.
I trust and hope I will receive a reply shortly.
To conclude, put myself in my position, would you be happy or annoyed.

Hi Paul. Sorry about the lack of contact. Let me look into this and come back to you with exactly what is going on. I can see that this item is kept in our warehouse rather than our main store which is likely the cause of the delay.

Again, I was not called back as promised, regarding my order 2315816, for a Sakura Shukan Lure Rod 11' 40-100g. If you cannot offer a definitive delivery date today, please refund me for this purchase. To be honest I have never known such poor service from a Fishing Shop outlet. I purchase quite a lot of sea fishing gear each year for Cod winter fishing and Bass lure fishing from spring to autumn. I purchase locally and from different Angling outlets across the UK, and I reiterate your service is the worst that I have experienced!
