Very disappointed, wasn't expecting that

Prices at online services can vary, depending on a variety of things. The item I wanted was priced competitively, so I contacted one of the online services for the item. After carefully checking that the price wouldn’t change the instant I put in my card number, I put in my card number. Everything looked kosher. When I received my item, I was notified by email that there was a discrepancy between what I had paid and what the item actually cost. Dumbfounded, I emailed back that I had paid the price on the screen and they had no right to try to jack me for more money. They begged to differ. Now my solicitor is involved, and I mistrust anything online services have to say. I’ll shop in brick and mortar stores from now on.
