I have a horrible set of experiences with masterscreekappaloosa.com. it really pains me to write this negative review, but I want to save others the aggravation. I bought a puppy from them -- a white German Shepherd when he was 9 weeks old.
He was diagnosed with a grade 2 to 3 heart murmur the day after we got him. I notified masterscreekappaloosa.com and they apologized and said it was likely a puppy murmur that would go away. We waited until he was over 7 months and it persisted.
masterscreekappaloosa did indicate that they would replace him with another puppy. I offered to keep my puppy and asked them to pay for half of any medical expenses up to the price that I paid for him -- they agreed.
I had a cardiologist perform an echocardiogram on him when he was over 7 months old. He was diagnosed with a congenital problem, but it was a mild enough case that would not require surgery.
I called masterscreekappaloosa.com asking them to pay for half of the cardiologists fees. They said that it was fair and they would do so. They asked for a copy of the invoice and report. I sent them via email and let many weeks go by.
After another email requesting whether they had received my emails, the replied that they were not going to reimburse any fees.
I am a fair person. This company is very greedy.
1. They had to know that he had a heart murmur but sent him on a plane to me anyway.
2. They gave me papers with an incorrect birthadate.
3. They initially offered to pay half of the bill then reneged.
The total price of the cardiologists fees was $390. I paid for the vet visit out of my puppy wellness program. All I was asking for was $195 in reimbursement. They offer ZERO.
I love my dog. He has a heart problem that I'm hoping wont get any worse.
My recommendation is find another company do buy your dog from.
