Avoid at all costs

Matt Tate of MDT has stitched me up and at least 2 others that have contacted me since. He quoted me £300 for drawings for my extension spent 15 mins at my property and whacked me with a bill for £1200. When I refused to pay he took me to court without so much as a warning. He then lied to the judge in court that we agreed £1200 and the judge believed him. I appealed and took to court with me one of the other wronged parties and the judge still sided with him. I would never have agreed to £1200 as I already had a price quoted elsewhere for £500. The drawings he has provided are also unusable because he supplied design drawings not building drawings and today I have reluctantly had to pay him because he has appointed bailiffs to seize goods from my property. He has proved to be the most unpleasant individual I have ever come across and I haven't found anyone yet who has a good word to say about him.
