This happened on Tuesday, 25-04-2017, between 15:00 - 15:40. We purchased 3 adult passes on the L'Open Tour, valid for 1 day, after we saw the brochures displayed at the front desk of our hotel (TimHotel Paris Gare Montparnasse). We chose to do the Green and Orange tours. On our last stop, Orange line #35 51 bd. Montparnasse, I stood at the back door with my father's wheelchair for approximately 1 minute. When the bus stopped, my parents stood and waited at the top of the stairs, while I started to walk down the steps with the wheelchair. I only got halfway down the steps when the bus started moving again and the doors closed on the chair. The chair was then stuck in the doors, and I fell backwards out of the moving bus and landed hard on my right hip and back. I saw a doctor in Munich, Germany on Friday, April 28th, who diagnosed my neck with whip lash. He noted that my hip would take about 3 weeks to heal. I now require physiotherapy for my neck. My parents were also injured. The bus driver stopped very abruptly when people were yelling at him, which sent my mother flying to the ground. She scraped her knee, and landed hard on her thumb and wrist. My father, who has recently been in a wheelchair due to his recent hip replacement, was thankfully holding on to a pole. However he twisted around when the bus started driving off, then twisted the other way when the bus stopped. I was fortunate that the bus stopped when it did, because my feet were under the bus. We have two witnesses who are willing to discuss everything that they saw, and a nearby cafe owner who had initially wanted to call the police and ambulance. We were in complete shock. The bus driver then came out and said that he did not see us. The problem with that, is that I was standing near the back entrance for about a minute before exiting. My parents were standing at the top waiting for me to go down. Then the bus started driving off before the doors were even closed. The bus driver provided me with this information: J. Michel 07.86.38.82.9? (the last # is either a 5 or another 9). I understand that he may be sorry for what happened, but his gross negligence leads us to believe that he is unfit as a bus driver. When we returned to the hotel, we tried to rest for a little while. I then went to the hotel front desk and spoke with Erika. She then called L'Open Tour and notified them of what happened. They provided us with an email address to contact them with a full explanation of the event. Aside from being in pain and sore, we are also traumatized. La chaise était alors collée dans les portes, et je me suis retiré du bus en mouvement et j'ai atterri sur ma hanche droite et mon dos. J'ai vu un médecin à Munich, en Allemagne, le vendredi 28 avril, qui a diagnostiqué mon cou avec un coup de fouet. Il a noté que ma hanche prendrait environ 3 semaines pour guérir. J'ai besoin d'une cure de kinésithérapie pour mon cou. Mes parents ont également été blessés. Je comprends qu'il puisse être désolé pour ce qui s'est passé, mais sa négligence grave nous amène à croire qu'il n'est pas un conducteur d'autobus. Lorsque nous sommes retournés à l'hôtel, nous avons essayé de nous reposer un moment. Je suis ensuite allé à la réception de l'hôtel et j'ai parlé avec Erika. Elle a ensuite appelé L'Open Tour et les a informés de ce qui s'est passé. Ils nous ont fourni une adresse email pour les contacter avec une explication complète de l'événement.
