Littering complaint

REI Roofing did a roofing job for a house across the street from me. It was a windy day and debris was flying all over my yard and into the street. I had to clean up and it took me over fifteen minutes to clean up their mess. I called the manager of REI Roofing to complain and he told me that it wasn't his people doing the job. His supervisor had borrowed his trucks and was using an independent crew to do the job. I pointed out that It was REI Roofing trucks. I didn't get any apology from anyone for the mess that I had to clean up. I would be leery about using a company that does not respect another person's property.
