GOOD FRIDAY - 14th APRIL 2017 Had I known that my suite was going to be made somewhere in Asia maybe ALARM BELLS would have rung......... We ordered the suite 15 months ago, first suite arrived looked good but the rise/recline mechanism all but ejected you when you tried to rise. SOFOLOGY sent an engineer to fix it - WITH A CROW BAR. Surprisingly this didn't prove to be a long term fix & eventually they decided to replace the unit which arrived 14 weeks later but was a different model to the rest of our suite - so they offered to order a complete new suite which again arrived 14 weeks later but this time the 2 sofas were different colours and stitching was different colours. 14 weeks on they delivered another suite yesterday Good Friday - yet again still not right, we decided to check the most basic part of the suite before it was completely unwrapped and found that the power units for the recliners still had no back-up supply so refused to accept it into the house. We purchased this suite as a recliner because I am disabled - first power cut we had made us realise that we had no 'back up' power to rise me back to seating position & 3 attempts later they still can't supply even that part of the order. Eventually they agreed to refund me but took the replacement & my entire suite away on Good Friday leaving me with nothing to sit on until I can order a new suite -(12-18 weeks) & I have to wait at least a week for any form of refund. Customer service is poor - to - pathetic - to - non existent - quality of goods is seriously in need of re evaluation, dispatch system at RUGBY DEPOT is run by headless chickens chasing other peoples ars*s with the only saving grace being their delivery guys whom I feel totally embarassed for. SOFOLOGY CUSTOMER SERVICES & RESOLUTION CENTRE did not care one iota that they would be leaving an older disabled lady with nothing to sit on but a laminate floor. Family were coming round for Easter to cook etc., but there is nowhere for them to sit!!! I have MS so sitting on the floor is ok because I have cushions but I can't then get up so until I can find a suitable suite elsewhere I can spend my time (when alone) in the bedroom (have an adjustable bed in there :) ) or lose what independence I have left by relying on others. I can't express enough just how heartless and uncaring this company is - HOWEVER - shortly after they took my suite my carer took me to look for something suitable as a replacement.... we visited SCS - HARVEYS - DFS - and outside each one of these units was 2 fresh faced sales staff giving away SOFOLOGY BALLONS & £250 off VOUCHERS. Such marketing extremes SPEAK VOLUMES.
