Poor Quality "Leather"

Purchased this for my wife. She loved it, cute, functional. within 6 months, the purse was showing signs of wear that might belong to something many years older. She is NOT hard on purses, in fact, many of her much older bags look nearly new. by the time the year was over, this thing looks like a cat mauled it - leather, or whatever this is, is flaking and peeling over the entire bag and strap. It looks like someone took a cheese-grater to the finish of it. No help from the manufacturer - guess they got their money and they are satisfied. Never buying anything from this company, and definitely encourage others to do the same.

Boycott Stone & Co Leather purse has vinyl strap and connections

I was given a gift of a Stone & Co Leather purse a year ago. The purse was really nice and I enjoyed using it. Within a year, the strap split and the leather connections attaching the strap to the purse frayed very badly. I am not rough on my purses. I took it to get repaired and turns out the strap and connections were vinyl!! What part of the purse suffers the most wear and tear? The strap and it's connections. Stone & Co advertises their purses as ALL LEATHER - completely false advertisement! I hope everyone boycotts them.
