USAA

I opened an account for banking a few months back. I have never bounced a check or went negative in my account. I deposited 800.00 in a check and they held it for 7 days. I had previously deposited a check from the same account and they put it through. They had no valid reason to hold the check. I am very disappointed with this company and will be making some changes.

Rental insurance? Don't have a dog!

First, I have been with USAA for about 12-13 years. I have had some doubts due to the cost of insurance but figured they were veteran and active military friendly. However... About a year ago, yes it took that long for anything to happen, a young girl walked into my house without permission. My Great Dane nipped her on the chest, which required stitches. Of course the parents were upset but then they began to try and scam me for money. Any way, because of this incident, again she walked into MY home WITHOUT permission and got bitten by my dog, they can no longer cover me for rental insurance. What a joke and disgrace of an insurance company.
