Review about HydroLOGICA
I saw this add pop up on FB for this skincare product supposedly backed by the investors on Shark Tank. Being the sucker I was, I reviewed the product a little and made and order...it was like $5, what was there to lose. Not only did I get sent an extra eye serum and got charged for it (even though I only ordered the face cream), the stuff did NOT work, felt awful and made me break out with all these little bumps. No biggie, just out $10, right? WRONG! A few weeks later I see on my credit card bill that I have been charged an additional $89.95 for one of the products and $79.95 for the other. WHAT!?! I called the company to get the mistake taken care of and ended up dealing with 2 different people who were extremely confrontational and rude. NO customer service skills whatsoever. I was informed that in the fine print, when you order the product at the promotional price you are actually agreeing to pay this insane amount, if you do not send back the jar of junk within 14 days. Well, one rep said 14 days and the other said 19, they didn't even give the same info. Both times when I asked to speak to their supervisor, I was told none were available. That was probably true considering I could hear multiple people having the same argument in the background. I was told I was being transferred and put on held and both times ended up getting a voicemail or told I would be called back immediately. Shocker, no one ever called me. This is SO SHADY and such a SKAM!!! Do NOT waste your time, money, frustration or skin.
