Review about Expedia
Horrible. Their customer service agent named Ray Allen actually relished in trying to trip me up in semantics when their website sent me a confirmation four days after I booked my flight with two wrong flights. I was unable to travel on those days and they charged me a 200.00 change fee on 300.00 flights. Also, they booked a rent a car for an additional day and cannot cancel that either. So 500.00 for their mistake and not only was I charged this exorbitant amount of money for literally nothing that is of any value to me at all, I was mocked and told that the reason Ray has his job and the position that he does, is because he is good at it, meaning that he was good at listening to upset people and giving nothing in return. He actually enjoyed telling me this. . His tone was despicable and condescending and told me he was the highest person at the company that I was able to talk to. I then spoke with the airline directly and they were exceptionally understanding and are working to give me options. They did not promise anything, but just the tone and understanding that this could possibly be an upsetting development, was miles apart from expedias. I believe expedia bait and switched me, The flight they booked me on is now under 200.00. They were rude and unhelpful and now am paying close to 1200.00 for flights I can get through the airline for 200.00. Unreal. Felt like I was in the twighlight zone.
