We needed a new hot water heater, called Boulden Brothers, usually use Horizon Services, who also use "Professional Trained " technicians. Our Technician was wonderful and did a fantastic job. We got the cost for a gas fired 50 gallon water heater and then the price for the tankless one. We wnet for the tankless due to the flood we had to clean up the night before and were told we wouldn't have to worry about the tankless one doing that. After the technician left I told a family member what we just paid and he told me to check out the price on line for the same item. I found the exact same tankless heater Napier 420-e that was installed on Amazon for $1579.98 and if you wanted it expertly installed it was another $700.00 to do so. WE PAID BOULDEN BROTHERS $4242.00. for the same thing... same warranty, same guarantee. The gas lines were all ready there , he shut off valve was there, they just provided a flex hose and 1 4" piece of threaded pipe. The vent pipes were there and cut and re used, they provided 1 45 degree elbow. I watched the technician install the tank as I kept up cleaning up the water from the tank. They also used 1 6 foot length of copper to re pipe cold and hot water. I gave them a review on facebook and I got a response that they use quality trained people and that their prices are competitive in the industry.. There is a $2500. difference and I don't think the install was worth $2500.00 for 3 hours. NO THANKS!!!
