Review about Protect Your Home - ADT Authorized Dealer
I've had the worst experience with ADT. They installed a home security system in our home a few years ago. After a month or so of having the system one of the sensors kept going off. I would constantly get calls when I was out. I spoke with a few customer service representatives about the problem but each time they called I had to reexplain the problem. There seemed to be no record of the issue I was having or if there was nobody was aware of it. A technition came to fix the problem and claimed it was fixed after he checked it out. Unfortunately it was not fixed and we continued to get calls. A local police officer, who was also a friend, emailed me one day and told me the police were called to my house a number of times because my alarm was going off. I was never informed by ADT that they were calling the police! I spoke with so many people at ADT about this and they did not try to help until I decided to cancel. Then when I cancelled they told me I was breaking my contract and needed to pay the remainder of the contract. We had another company come out to install a security system and the technition was able to identify the problem without even looking at the sensor we were having the issue with. He was much more knowledgeable than the ADT individual. So overall our experience with all departments at ADT was horrible. I suggest using another company.
