My Mum and Dad came up in the years when people were exquisitely polite. They aren’t used to this generation’s lack of manners. I hired an online service for a problem they had with their home. The workers were polite enough, but the online personnel weren’t. I messaged them with a small problem at the house, to be told that the workers had all they needed and not to contact them again. Mum and Dad, not to mention the workers, were shocked. I won’t be using these people again.
