Perhaps not being face to face with your customers gives online services the impression that when something goes wrong, we don’t count. Perhaps being online services keeps you separated from mere mortals who work hard to buy your wares. If you ever really stocked the item I wanted, perhaps being online protects you from my wrath when it didn’t arrive. My wrath went to the head office of the online service in question. They immediately sent me the item at a reduced rate and promised they would fire every last one of you. And good riddance, too. I won’t use this service again.
