I was fearful of getting kicked out from day one and it finally happened because I came home from work and ate my dinner that I got in the fridge. Chet does not care one bit about helping addicts, he just wants the paycheck. He verbally abuses clients and staff that are actually there for the right reasons. I was doing great in my recovery and still am, no thanks to him or his new wife he had an affair with in the offices of that **** hole. I've met many great people in the 3+ months I was there and have seen many of them get kicked out to the streets as he packed their bags with that power tripping smile he keeps on his face. I am writing this in hopes to deter others from making the same mistake I did by going there. There are many different options and I suggest u look at them. He doesn't even have enough staff to get us to meetings on a daily basis. Meetings almost every night and many other lies from the phone interview I had sounded great for recovery. That's all it was though. LIES!!! The counselors are like puppets that are scared to death of losing their job if they do the right thing and stand up for the best interest of the client not the money hungry owner and his ***** gold digging wife. Mike, the head counselor, is an evil man that seems to get off while kicking people out he doesn't like. No-one is perfect and we all make mistakes. The funny thing is that the people mentioned above are the ones that SIN on a daily basis and don't get punished for making strides in the right direction like the clients. Hopefully, their time will come to explain to their maker why they are such pieces of garbage. I highly recommend talking to many others that have been through this non spiritual program before making a decision. This is the rest of your life and is the last place you want to start a new future. Hopefully, someone will soon investigate the way clients are treated, false advertised to, and humiliated at that place. I truly hope whoever is reading this makes the right decision. The only thing I received from that place is great friendships and a mindset to not only stay sober for myself but for spite of that awful smile Chet has and feelings I get when he tosses people to the street to perhaps die within the hour with no care in the world.
