Absolutely a waste of time and money

We sent 4 reels of 8mm film, 5 mini video cassettes and 8 glass slides. We got back 5 (I want to say digitized, but basically copied to a very small format) and 8 glass slide images that were cut off at the top. We did not receive any of the 8mm films converted, which is the advertising highlight of the company. Highly disappointed, complete waste of money. And this was after 12 weeks of waiting.

This company is not honest of their products and services.

I sent 22 units of DVDRW for them to convert to digital files and since they advertised for a half off their most expensive package, which is the 40 Piece Trunk, I decide to get that for $600 so I can thrown in some random photo prints. Then I get a canned confirmation email saying that they received my stuff (see attached photo). Note that in the email it did not specifically tell you that they will not convert the DVDRWs, otherwise I would have cancelled the order because I certainly don't want to pay $600+ just to get a scan of some photos which I could have done easily myself. I called customer service after I got my stuff back without the digital files of my DVDRW's and tried to reason with them but they won't give me a total refund. In a nutshell, I got duped by this company to pay the most expensive scanning of photos for $400+. I do NOT recommend this company. With the way they dupe customers, I think this company will not last.

Terrible production, broken promises, not very professional

Nothing went right in dealing with this company. A promised refund has never posted to my account. They screwed up much of my order, didn't take care in handling my items, and even gave me downloads of another person's memories. You would be best advised to go elsewhere to get your items digitized. I am just thankful all of my items were returned even though what they were supposed to have transferred over didn't get fully done.

Do not use this company!

I used Legacy Box to have my VHS-C, VHS and DVs transferred to DVD. I should have done it myself. The quality of the transfers were terrible. Some had menus, some didn't. Tracking problems, audio problems. I sent back about ten to be re-digitized. Some were better; others not so much. I would have been better off having Costco transfer them. Their marketing and packaging is wonderful on their website. Don't be fooled. They are amateurs. Don't waste your time or your money. This is coming from someone with experience in Video Quality Control.

Lost precious memories

I sent tapes to be digitized and they lost the only copy of the birth of my son. It is irreplaceable. I wanted others to know so they don't lose their special memories as well. Do not use Legacybox. I went through Goupon.
