Review about MoveSurplus
This has been the worst online shopping experience I've ever had. Their website has a lot of unique items and looked pretty legit, so I made a purchase and checked-out via PayPal. Like most online retailers, I got an auto-generated receipt minutes after checking out.... unfortunately, that that was the last time I've heard anything from them. After a few weeks of patiently waiting, I wondered why I hadn't yet received a shipping confirmation. I sent an email and waited a few more days... no resonse. It's now been 3 weeks. Their website lists a phone number, so i give them a call. "Uh-oh," I think as an automated voice tells me this is a google-phone number and asks me to announce my name so google-voice can try to connect me... not a good sign. I give my name and, unsurprisingly, it goes to a voicemail. I leave a message, hoping someone will call back. Concerned now by the warning signs, I log in to PayPal and officially send movesurplus a message through PayPal's remediation system. I'm polite and indicate that I've been attempting to contact them and am wondering the status of my order. Wait another week.... again, no response (no surprise at all, at this point.) So, where am I now?? Well, I'm still going through PayPal's remediation and am attempting to get my money back. Wish me luck...and beware if you buy anything from movesurplus.com
