Review about Xoom Global Money Transfer
Wow... I am experiencing the WORST customer experience ever from XOOM. I've used xoom before and liked them. Clearly that was before Paypal bought them. Good then and HORRIBLE now. They asked me to send a current bank statement and a current government issued ID. I sent that and through in an extra just help get this done quickly. All matched perfectly. I called my bank just to make sure everything is ok there..... they not only said no issues but they even said xoom is screwed up and other customers complaining. They wanted to provide great customer service and offered to be on the phone with me and a xoom representative (which I offered to xoom and they turned down). I have been on the phone with xoom now 4 or 5 times. I have asked to speak with a supervisor/manager multiple time. Each time I have been told supervisor is busy and will call call back. The call back should be in an hour or so but within 24 hours guaranteed. So far... I have never never been called back! I received a pdpjw email today asking me to call them. I did. The agent put me on hold multiple times. He said if could see that I've been through a lot (hell really) and if would escalate this and again promised a call back from a manager. I few hours later, no call just an email saying they can't do anything. This is not only crazy and stupid it's just HORRIBLE service! I sent money with their competitor with no issue whatsoever BUT I had to pay more. I night give them one more chance next time. Only cause I'm cheap... but I hope no one ever has to go through this. If you don't mind spending a little more STAY AWAY FROM XOOM...
