Review about AT&T
ade the mistake of switching to AT&T and Direct TV to save a little money. Definitely NOT worth it. To begin with I was assured that Direct TV no longer had the issues of the TV going out every time there is rain or wind, it still does. Was told that AT&T's internet speed was sufficient to handle streaming, multiple devices etc, IT IS NOT. I called repeatedly to complain about the issues, no help from either service department. Finally after 3 months got so fed up with it that we cancelled the services. Then the billing issues started, since they were combined billing us, I was charged by both AT&T and Direct TV for the same services. Called and spoke with numerous CSR and paid the amount I was told I owed for each company, this included the early termination fees. Started receiving phone calls and past due bills from the AT&T side, called and explained that I had paid already, they transferred me to the combined billing department, accounts were reviewed and I was told I was paid in full. Repeated this on 3 seperate occasions within a 6 week period. Each call I took the CSR name, date of call, and a reference number for the call. Received another past due bill saying account was going to collections, called again. After almost 2 hours of being passed around and being told I had to pay even though I didn't owe it, I finally gave up and paid $$ that I know I didn't owe them. Just tired of dealing with them!! My advice to anyone thinking of trying this company... DON'T!!! You will regret it,.
