Review about John Pye Auctions
They sell items which are used, broken (badly visibly damaged, not just operationally defective) and missing parts. Look at the comments on here. All they do is reply to say "sorry, please use live chat or talk to customer service", only for the cycle to begin again, customer service say "oh it's sold as seen, did you not attend the viewing?" - what, in Nottingham when I'm 500 miles away? Why have an online service in the first place if your patrons clearly wouldn't be able to view (it would make no financial sense to do so when time and fuel travel costs considered). Utterly appalling service and we will be approaching trading standards and our family lawyer until we are done right by. Quoting from online for now: "...[if specified goods are not second hand] the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (SGA) will still apply. Under the SGA, the item must match its description, be of satisfactory quality, and fit for purpose. If the item fails any of those standards, you have the legal right to return it for a repair, replacement or refund."
