Advertised as spa day with 2 treatments (1hour) and afternoon tea. Waited in spa are for 25 minutes to be told by a staff member that we had affectivly been forgotten and they had taken another group through ahead of us. Told we would have to have our treatment time cut to Half an hr instead of the full one hour which I had paid for. When I enquired that we could come back later in the day to complete our treatment I was told no we could not, We would have to vome back another day!!!! Spa area was in chaos .... Not a very relaxing environment. I was furious so didn't get to relax or enjoy my back massage!!! Parking at this place is a joke and very expensive. Had to park in shopping centre a good 15 minute walk from Bannatyne spa. Who builds a spa resort and then provides no parking ??? More stress I could do without! Pool side dirty I counted as least 4 discarded sticking plasters .... Yuk! Afternoon tea was a joke. Tables with dirty glasses etc which I cleared myself! Had to find and ask someone to clean the table before we could sit down. Sandwiches where a choice of cheese or ham and not enough to feed 4. We were still hungry but not given the opportunity to ask for any more. Cream eclairs were 'off' and couldn't be eaten. We had one pot of clotted cream between the 4 of us for the scones .... It was a joke..... This had been booked months in advance for 2 special birthdays and cost a small fortune!!!! Never again ..... A lesson learnt.
