Review about Mt.Olympus Resort
I am a terminal cancer patient with a husband who has a walking disability. We wanted to take ten grandchildren and two nephews on a holiday to spend some fun time and contacted the resort personally not thru a website. We explained that we were traveling in a large group and ask for rooms that could house us all and if not ajaoining at least near one another. I explained the health issues and ask to be near the park due to disability and ground floor. The issue was not cost! At the time of reservation I was told they had rooms with two queens and bunks and could provide roll always and we were happy. We were told we would be placed close by. Upon arrival from out of state we were put in building 14!! Not close at all!! When asked to upgrade again not an issue of cost we were told there were not two rooms together anywhere other than across the Road from where we were!! We had to deal with it!! Upon getting to said rooms we had to call because the roll always asked for at the time of reservation and again at check in were not there! So called and they were sent but why did I have to call again??!! The phone in one room did not work and when reported the rep who came checked and said I cannot repair will inform I T. The remote on the television did not work the toilets ran all night loudly and one was sluggish! When reported it kept coming to the top when flushed someone came and said "it's working and proceeded to show us how to flush so it would not overflow!!!" Remember we had twelve kids?!? So now I had to guard toilet each time someone used?? We were told free food in the park yet on one side only and again we would have to drive to other side to get to it because of disability. When asked no one had a solution to assist. We were told additional hours in the park at night but when asked each night told park closing and not given the info for the three coaster go carts and three kiddie rides open we were told EVERY TIME INDOOR PARK IS OPEN. Which was packed to the gills each night when park closed!! When asked at front desk about towels told you get them in "the park". Only to finally have another guest tell us what hotel employees could not clarify. Towels are in the indoor park! I could list more but I am sure you get the idea. Our first night I give excellent review to the housekeeping staff who saw us coming in and went over and above making sure there were towels for all to shower. But the rest of our expieriance with the staff of this resort is awful. We will NEVER reccomend this resort to anyone. In the past we have stayed at the wilderness and zahari. They are infinitely more professional informative and accessable
