Review about Autotunez
I purchased a relatively cheap car stereo unit on Dec 29 2016...all good arrived with normal time...kept it in box for few weeks until i had time to have it installed eventually the time came around and it was all great...good sound...about a month later i lost all sound. ..so we removed unit to check wiring..all good....reinstalled and then lost screen ...just dashes on screen. So then i contacted seller Autotunez...on ebay ...they have two names so had to find. ....so they replied with...can you do this and this and record and send video to show fault...remember this is a $58 car radio with 18 month warranty....so after installing and uninstalling 4 times the unit still not working....so after about 20 emails the the seller still refused to refund and would do a replacement at my cost...so i returned unit at cost of about $20 and a replacement unit arrived about two weeks later....ok installed new unit radio played for about 15 minutes until i put cd in and then lost sound again...so the unit it self can not be switched from radio to cd to aux without scrambling the processor. ..so now no sound again...at this stage i had enough and asked for refund on faulty radio....the sellers reply was do you want replacement i replied NO NO NO.i want a refund....sellers reply send it back for tefund at my expense of $20 again so thats $40 out of my pocket for a radio thats cost $58.....so i asked why do i need to pay for postage on a faulty item twice??????.....i payed the first time so i assumed good business practice is to look after customers and not sell a faulty radio and then charge for the postage on returns.....i accept the cost for first return but not for second...what this happens five or ten times would far out weigh the price of cheap radio and not to mention my costs following sellers intructions on how to fix the unit (4installs and uninstalls)..so at this stage I'm still thinking of my options to pay $40 to get back $58...and the time wasted...i would have expected a better business approach by offering me the postage to return item as 99 percent of ebay sellers offer...so pretty poorly run business and no doubt i will never buy from this seller again and i will make sure people know about this...i will post a negative review through every outlet i can find....at the end of the day its not about the and time wasted its about the lack of customer service.
