Posting for a friend: Leah Candace Zegouros I AM SHARING THIS FOR ALL CAT OWNERS! This is an ANIMAL ALERT about a DANGEROUS 'NEW' FLEA AND TICK PRODUCT called "CATEGO"...! In an attempt to safeguard my 9 month old kitty from disease spreading ticks and fleas, I applied a product that is new on the market RIGHT from my veterinarians, called CATEGO. It has nearly KILLED my little guy! As soon as I APPLIED this EXACTLY AS DIRECTED from the dispenser plunger he actually cried out, and looked at me from slit eyes, then his skin crawled uncontrollably like a slinky. With In one hour he developed severe diarrhea, his eyes became dilated and lethargy set in, so great, he could not stand, he was dead weight for hours, with his tongue hanging out at times. NO ANTIDOTE. The emergency clinic told me to immediately call ASPCA POISON CONTROL for ANIMALS. 24 hours later he is only slightly better, is trying to eat and most importantly drink, but he is still NOT RIGHT, can't run or play, moves very slowly, He appears to have suffered nerve damage, I pray ONLY temporarily. I am horrified and unable to even sleep for fear of the worst. DO NOT USE THIS VETERINARIAN ONLY dispensed product!!! And please EVERYONE PRAY for this little innocent kitty to survive this ordeal without permanent nerve or brain damage!!!
