company provided me with no service whatsoever, apart from really upsetting and depressing me. Of course this company will have good reviews simply because people book their taxis and don't have to amend or cancel the booking and every is fine, but believe me if you do have to do this any of this, prepare to be very disappointed with their service. On the 15/03/20 went on a comparison website called "TAXI PRICE COMPARE" and of course I'm thinking it's a website just like other comparison websites Go Com..., Compare the M..... etc, "BUT" unlike those other websites that just compare prices and take you to the merchant to deal with directly Taxi Price Compare leads you to book through them. The first "SUSPECT" thing they "TRY ON" after inputting some details a pop up screen appears saying "IT LOOKS A LITTLE TIGHT" and tries to get you to upgrade even though you have already input exactly what's was required for the journey before that point?. Another "SUSPECT" thing is that there is an option for SMS confirmation "PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS AS IT IS TICKED ON BY DEFAULT " I was then directed to pay so I used PP at "21:13. I then got an email from Taxi Price Compare stating that the driver had been assigned, after I got a phone call from the assigned taxi company asking about the booking, at that point I realized the post code on collection was incorrect, but he told me "THERE WAS NOTHING HE COULD DO TO AMEND THE BOOKING" and gave me an email to contact. Interestingly this email for communicating with them was the same email used by Taxi Price Compare in my recent PP case and the same email that took Taxi Price Compare just under 6 days to reply to regarding my recent PP dispute. I needed a fast response to the issue as my flight was in the morning. I didn't want o call any numbers because I'm on roaming and the Isle of Man mobile operators are not part of the UK networks. On the confirmation email there was a "USERS DASHBOARD" option this took me to another website this was "TAXICODE". I just wanted to "AMEND" my booking and here it gave me two options one was "REBOOK JOURNEY" and "CANCEL BOOKING" so of course I first tried to rebook journey, but it only let me change to time not the post code, so I just canceled the booking at "21:35" and thought It would just be easier to do that and start again like any normal person would do. Now at this point what I didn't realize was this company has absolutely appallingly shocking T&C's. After what happened I was actually scared to go back on their website just in case I was somehow charged or billed again, but in the end I did as i needed to read their T&C's in detail. If you cancel your booking more than "30 DAYS" prior to the Journey date in your booking, you will be entitled to a refund equivalent of "ONLY 55%" of the value of your booking. If you cancel your booking between "11 DAYS TO 30 DAYS" prior to the Journey date in your Booking, you will be entitled to a refund equivalent to "ONLY 25%" of the value of your booking. If you cancel your booking between "2 DAYS TO 10 DAYS" prior to the Journey date in your Booking, you will be entitled to a refund equivalent to "ONLY 10%" of the value of your booking. If you cancel your booking on "THE SAME DAY OR THE DAY BEFORE" to the Journey date in your Booking, "YOU WILL NOT BE ENTITLED TO ANY REFUND". You see it's all at their discretion, a cancellation charge "MAY" be refunded on the basis that "YOU REBOOK IN 24 HOURS" and note that's also a whopping "£15 ADMINISTRATION CHARGE INVOLVED". Only once the Journey is rebooked, the refund can be processed. "HOWEVER", Taxi Price Compare reserves the right to refuse a cancellation refund at any time. Does any of the above sound fair or reasonable!. Personally I don't think so and I would not recommend :(
