For anyone finding this post...beware. Viper Tec is a rip off. I purchased their 'limited edition' Darth Ghost, which felt like a solidly built, albeit very heavy, knife. Being impressed with the initial feel, I purchase their 3-pc 'mystery micro otf pack' shortly thereafter. The order took ridiculously long (weeks) to receive once notification of shipping was received, leading one to the suspicion that 'made in USA' isn't very truthful or honest. The 3-pc micro mystery pack that costs $40 looked NOTHING like the photo on their website. The knives were $3 china junk knives you would find at a flea market or a truck stop far off the beaten path. But, being sold as a 'mystery pack' I didn't complain. I was out $40. Live and learn. The next day, my Darth Ghost (a $100+ knife) failed to deploy or retract. I contacted the company, only to receive no response. I even replied again, stating that I would PAY FOR SERVICE, not expecting free warranty work (which they advertise), in the event that they would claim the problem was due to operator error. Still, no reply. Over a month later...still crickets. Save your money and buy quality. Viper Tec is not it.
