I and my friend rented a car in 2016 in MA, U.S. for 3 days weekend. We returned the car on date and time as we promised. We dropped the key and parked in the area they provided as usual. I knew something went wrong cuz the deposit was still on hold for a month. I contacted them to check status and cut off my bill. I was told the car hadn't returned yet. What they thought was the car was stolen. They called the police offices and tow services to check the car. All actions they took were after I gave them a call. They kept telling us that they checked the camera many times, but it wasn't there. They freaked us out if the car was gone. This was terrified us for couple days, so I and my friend decided to visit enterprise offic to investigate the issue. We spent time to ask several questions about how normally they do after the cars were returened. After 45 mins seeking the car on their camera video, we found out that the camera didn't set the right current date and time that's why they couldn't find it. Lots of question I have for them, what the ***** they were doing during a month after the car was supposed to return? Why haven't they contacted us where the car was. Would the customer like to extend the rental from 3 days to 30 days? The weekend price almost $200 the deposit was held $300. Even though we'd like to extend, but 30 days how much was gonna be? It's definitely over $300 deposit. Haven't you even checked the car seriously? Regarding reliability, how can customers trust the company. If the car was lost, but we weren't gonna know until we called them. And they didn't know where the heck car was? It's on the camera, but the car and keys were gone. The excuses that employee told us were that the car might move to clean, rotate to other branches, fix, or maintenance check. You know what? I don't care! Your job is to check and close the bill before you moved the car to somewhere else. That's it!!!! And if we couldn't catch the camera. They may rip us off and fine us for the cost of the car :( So be aware before you rent the car with this company guys.

I had rent a car with enterprise in Uk and I had 3 traffic violations because I enter the bus lane and the company charged me admission fees for every violation for 35 pounds because the had to do the paper work and send it to me. For me this is not logical to pay the penalty and also pay them 35 pound for my car violation just to send to me the penalty that the council send them. The customer service is awful the told me that it was in the contract but never mention it to me and last time i have the same issue they did not charge me admission fees but this time they did and they told me that last time maybe the person who did the paper work did not know his job well. The charge people for no reason just to take money from customers. Never again with them.. I have pay more than 150 pounds just for admission n cost, to send me by letter my car violation paper that the council send them.

I got a bad experience with enterprise it was one of the worst rental agency which they blame the customers for no reason
