First time contacting Quicken Loans. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! Worst customer service experience from Jessie Fakhouri - told him repeatedly I am not available at certain hours of the day, but he kept calling anyway. Gave me a pre-approval letter that later turn out to be a mistake. Spoke to Michael and was told his team wil reach out to me to get me qualified. Spoke to Tina from the credit Dpt and told her the times I will be available during the day. Was promised a call on the same day but that never happened. When I called Quicken Loans I was told Tina only works 8:30-5pm and she went home for the day. Other people called me at the wrong times again, had the same bad experience in not listening and promise call times for later to find out they also left for the day. These people don't care and don't listen, they will call you when they want not when you are available. They will pre approve you for later to say is a mistake and try work with you in a different angle as in credit reconciliation and what they can offer. That's not what I sign up for, is either a yes or a simple no if i can get a home loan. Worst experience ever! Will definitely spread the word.

Eight years ago when looking for my first mortgage I contacted Quicken. Their primary goal it seems was to get my $300 application fee. I was buying A condo in Massachusetts and the regulations and requirements are severe and complex. My next mortgage broker (and other real estate people) told me there was NO POSSIBLE WAY for Quicken to service my mortgage from Ohio or wherever it was at the time. It required someone operating with a real estate license in Mass to file papers etc. So, I chalked it up to "lesson learned" and lost my $300 to a scam. The thing that irritates me about Quicken now is how sneaky they are. On 3 occasions (one was today) I have tried to check out links to see about refinancing. Almost without fail they gather info without EVER identifying who they are until the end - they are Quicken! once they have a phone# they will pester you forever. The second time they got me I was in for over 4 weeks of phone calls sometime 2 and 3 times a day. Now apparently people are catching on to Quicken so they are operating as Rate Site (Harp), Lending Tree, Rocket Loans,Loan Depot, and others. My guess is they have diversified to gather in more unwary consumers and seem all friendly and cuddly. My advice? Stay away from ALL Quicken incarnations. Their main goal is to get that initial (non-returnable) payment and if they can string you along to get more it is all for the good to them. N. Ridley
