SYKES COTTAGES DO NOT USE
Sykes- Very Bad Experience Sykes- Very Bad Experience The Old Stables, Tarleton, West Lancs We have stayed with Sykes for decades. However an owner on a recent holiday has claimed incorrectly for damage to towels and sheets. At the most, all that was required was to wash them, which I would assume was normal in between hires. Sykes will not accept any explanation on my part but simply believed the owner and charged a ridiculous £89 to my card. Basically the owners have replenished their stocks at our expense. Never have I seen this behaviour before and as a result Sykes have lost a loyal customer. They refused to listen and said any complaint would have to be taken up by a third party. So here we are and as per Sykes request this review will appear on other much frequented social media.

Scammers stay away from them
they plan to charge you max for damages even after you leave, complaints team tells you basically you agreed with owner when you booked to pay, its a massive job how these scamming companies are still allowed to be running

Not recommended
What a giant disaster! Unreliable is the biggest complaint here. Well, that and I had to sit on the phone with customer service for hours. I can’t recommend it.
