Review about Hotels.com
DON'T EVER USE HOTELS.com!!!!! They they charge your card upfront. they tell you that they'll be no penalty for charge if you cancel within a certain time but I canceled in that time. Then I was told that they charge the card but not not to worry because they issue a refund (takes 3 to 7 days later). Best stations and other places and even many other hotels do an initial credit card check verification and the charge only use charge back up on that check in. So I don't understand why they can't just drop the charge and put it through as $.0. It's irritating enough that they have to charge the amount of the card front. I've tried to talk to customer service multiple i've tried to talk to customer service multiple times and once I explain why am calling the phone disconnects. When my husband called back in and the teller said the computer system was shut down, so they couldn't make any changes or look into anything. I agree with other, nurse that said that the call center must be in another country. The customer service is just horrible. Another shame was, when I called the hotel directly to verify they didn't show any record of anything and they had the room and was actually at a cheaper price. DON'T EVER USE HOTELS.com
