Review about Gravel Master
I purchased through Gravelmaster because they had a COVID 19 banner stating that it was business as usual and they could even deliver next day if ordered by 1 pm (This is still there despite the number of negative reviews disputing this) I ordered BECAUSE of this and chose my nominated deliver date that was about 5 days after the order date. As echoed by many reviewers my order has not arrived. I cannot trace my order. and their phone lines are not being answered. I have not had a reply to my emails. The money has been taken. Although this is unacceptable, what is most worrying is they have stopped reviews being allowed on google reviews and someone (or many people) seem to be flagging negative reviews on their TrustPilot page and posting what seem to be misleading and Fraudulent positive reviews (a quick search shows that these follow a pattern and are generic one-off reviews) I am concerned that they are using the recent outbreak, subsequent DIY boom and monopoly of the market (most DIY chains are not open at this time) to take customer money with no intention to deliver. The money is always debited instantly but you cannot get it back. It seems they can then skew the reviews in a manner to hide those trying to find their order (people are having to review as there is no way to get through to the company) It seems a shame to get trading standards involved as you'd want to give a company benefit of the doubt due to the pressure on business at this time. But if you are promising service with nominated delivery but unable to deliver then this is capitalising on the virus which seems in bad taste. I would also make the point that if someone is available to flag reviews to admin and try to get them removed then they are free to respond to those reviews or answer the phoneline. I hope people can see TrustMeter reviews as they seem to be more representative of the scale of deception before placing an order with Gravelmaster
